Mike McCarthy said he hopes to draft a QB:
• At the “right time”
• Long arms & big hands
• “More excited about the floor” than the ceiling sometimes
There’s one that seems to check all of those boxes, and the Steelers already met with him twice …

Miami QB Carson Beck is in Pittsburgh for a Top 30 visit with the Steelers.

The Steelers have agreed to terms with former Titans DT Sebastian Joseph-Day on a two-year, $11 million deal, source confirms.
Here’s the full scouting report from our Top 150 free agent rankings
The Steelers TE needs have changed dramatically in a week. After Jonnu Smith got cut and Connor Heyward went to Vegas, they went from an overstocked 4-TE room to just 2. Probably need to add one (and/or FB-capable) at some point
Dinkins is likely in the late Day 3 or UDFA range.
The Steelers hosted Penn State TE Khalil Dinkins for a pre-draft visit last week, per source.
At 6-4, 251, he's known more as a blocking TE. Was one of just 6 players (of 319) to participate in every drill at the combine.
North Allegheny grad doesn't count against the 30 total since he’s local.
Prysock is the second known Top 30 visitor. The Steelers also hosted Miami OT Markel Bell last week, as previously reported.
Bell is likely to fall in the late Day 2/ early Day 3 range. Prysock probably early Day 3.
The Steelers have 12 picks include: three 3rds, two 4ths, a 5th and two 6ths.
The Pittsburgh Steelers hosted Washington CB Ephesians Prysock last week for a Top 30 visit, per source.
At 6-3, 196 and with 33 1/8” arms, he’s a super long corner. He played more than 2,600 defensive snaps over 49 college games and had a strong showing at the Senior Bowl.
