Annnnnd now my Arch Linux install just shut off unexpectedly, so it’s likely a hardware issue and probably GPU. So much for my plan of getting back to streaming I guess

Thanks for the heads up, actually hadn’t heard about that, just that Windows updates sometimes screw with things. Will definitely keep the Linux drive disconnected while messing with Windows

Weirdly it seems to just not boot into the Windows drive when I have it disabled. Have tried manual booting from BIOS, rearranging boot order and booting from Limine's Windows thing (which was weirdly giving a drive not found error, unsure why since it is definitely there

Will try from bootable USB

Honestly I haven't had issues until last night, CONVENIENTLY after a mandatory major Windows update

I have a hunch this may actually not be an NVidia issue this time around

On the plus side, I was not using Bitlocker, so files are totally recoverable (I usually keep my stuff on unencrypted drives separate from boot anyways)

Also if folks have somehow found a way around this I'm all ears, but I have tried pretty much every fix I could find and have had zero luck getting it to revert back to a like "First Time Setup" state to get around this

Press [OK] to run the next boot device, or enter directly to BIOS Setup if there are no other boot devices installed. Go to BIOS Setup > Boot and change the current boot device into other secured boot devices."

Welp, my PC crashed several times due to NVidia drivers last night so I finally took the plunge into dual-booting CachyOS, disabled Secure Boot temporarily to install assuming I could just turn it back on and be fine, but NOPE 🫠

May have to just wipe my Windows drive and install Windows 10 again
