Is this because watermelon?
If the best player on every team has a signature shoe, nobody is going to give a fuck about signature shoes.
Yeah, we suck
People call this analysis, no wonder RFK Jr is leading HHS.
That is not what that graph shows. Correlation does not equal causation. There are lots of reasons people would talk about it more even if it was happening less.
That doesn’t make a ton of sense. The deal is agreeing to pay for something that is currently free. Ain’t nobody going in and telling the US to get out and we clearly don’t give a single shit about legality.
Trump is a Republican, not a conservative. One is just a team name, the other is an actual philosophy. It’s like the Chinese Communist Party, it’s the name on the door, but it doesn't mean they're actually following the dictionary definition.
It adds a 3rd party to the mix unnecessarily, given the mess we created for ourselves.
Diego Garcia is part of this. It’s literally the picture from the article.
We agree on what should happen. I just used to work on the island and I know the value to the US, especially with a Middle East conflict.
It’s super critical to the US and we just started a war for no reason that requires the continued use.
Weirdly enough, this is one of the most important bases for the US Navy and Air Force.
Not saying it’s a good thing, but it’s not crazy that we’d want to keep it.
Clever, I’m sure they are the cheapest branch by a mile, but I think it’s like $80+bn
Yeah! How dare your city not be doing better than the rest of the country!
Musk is the poster child
You act like it’s over
You are too combative for me. Adios!
Truth is I don’t need you to do anything. Obama and Biden weren’t fascist but Bush was and we didn’t do anything to make the democracy stronger in the interim.
We have a pretty anti-democratic setup and have had it for my adult life.
The electoral college, citizens united, gerrymandering, it leads to a true illusion of choice. We don’t have a 2 party system but we functionally do…we’re definitely skewing illiberal where it counts.
We’re absolutely fascist now. All the pieces are still in place to get out of it, but right now we are fascist, upcoming elections will tell us how fucked we are.
Defending any politicians who has defended Israel’s apartheid state is wild now. I’m ashamed I didn’t know before, but now we know.
That’s a good reason for Adam Silver not to say that.
Damn, most relatable he’s ever been.
The same issue exists for football in football stadiums
A corporation deciding to make less money to make a better product? Lolololol
It literally says “…for their data centers to be obliterated, and then choose to push that cost onto their consumer base…”
That would be a better argument, had that been what you wrote. You were posting about the data center being destroyed.
This wasn’t the argument
I’m just saying it won’t have any impact and will probably just make them more sympathetic and allow them to exploit more
