We will still win the league. I believe it, and you should too. The last loss lead to a very long unbeaten streak. Hopefully this loss will make the team feel a little less comfortable. Good opportunity next week for the team to reset and reassert themselves.
But everyone who played on or supports a team holding a multi-game lead knows those games are often the hardest to win, esp with Arsenal dropping yesterday. It’s easier to push under pressure than with a cushion. The team showed up in the second half today, but it was too little too late.
Awful first half. I still can’t wrap my head around some of those passing decisions, which ultimately dug too deep a hole. But perspective is needed. It’s easy for us as supporters to have a killer instinct and to expect the same of the players…
