Nikon S3 2000 with Nikkor-S 50mm f1.4 Nikon made this S3 in the year 2000. That's only.... counting.... okay it's a long time ago now, but considering they last made S3s in 1964, it's quite an accomplishment. It looks, feels, and works ju...

Just in: in 2000, Nikon somehow remembered how to build a bunch of brand new, all mechanical S3 rangefinder cameras and lenses, and then immediately forgot how to do it and went back to building whatever it is they're making now.
