Yes! So much reimagining has us also having work out how it might be used for nefarious means or absorbed as part of the panopticon

At this stage I'm tempted to just not reply but interested to hear how you pushed back
"this chat is voluntary FOR YOU"
which suggests for some it's not and we all one DWP assessment away from that
"the things that matter to you"
Well not being hounded by nefarious neoliberal forces when I'm too unwell to work is pretty important to me so....
UC think I'm living like this for fun and just need a little chat to nudge me back to work. Believe me, I'd swap the debilitating mental illness for a career if I could
Would you like to have a chat about how I can help you? Jobcentre Plus We can talk about how I can support you. And we can identify things you can do to help you take the next steps - but only when you're ready to. For example, we can talk about: - developing your skills - building your confidence - the things that matter to you - potential options for the future This chat is voluntary for you. It will not cause us to re-assess your capability for work. The amount of Universal Credit you receive will not change. If you want to know more, please reply to this journal message. I will arrange to contact you at a convenient time. Show less
Got this message in my universal credit journal today 🤨 I am in the LCWRA group
That's awful! I'm so sorry
As soon as you don't conform: your mental health, your gender, your race, your disability, your class, your age, your queerness, your partners, you find the medical profession has a lot of power and control of your body.
Ok I won't but I will warn people privately. Thank you for bringing it to my attention!
Would you be happy for me to screenshot this thread and share on IG?
FFS they are unbelievable
🚩Jess and Jaimi Taylor (who are not registered clinical psychologists and are not qualified to treat trauma survivors) have set up IITAS, a new training and social media content vehicle. They are asking domestic abuse and psych system /1

We can’t afford Life cause we gotta spend it on Death
Love this!
Journalists know that losing the Wayback Machine would be a nightmare: www.wired.com/story/the-in...
people are getting all worked up about this but it boils down to simple economics really: if a few people want the yachts to which they’re entitled then a few other people have to die soaked in piss in hospital corridors
Present! 🫡
There's no way we could switch to the planned economy you'd need to radically overhaul the country and radically rebuild the state capacity we spent decades destroying. Imagine trying to run a wartime economy when your primary goal is making sure venture capitalists can still profit from water.
This is great news and in case you have any doubt - you absolutely need and deserve this money. I hear how difficult it is though and understand why it feels like such a mixed emotion
A calendar on a wall shows April 2026. An illustration of a dog sitting on a chair. In speech bubbles they are saying "We don't make change by intellectualizing. We change things by showing up again and again with compassion"
We're over a week into April but it wouldn't feel right not share my #anonymousfuzzball calendar!
"We don't make change by intellectualising. We change things by showing up again and again with compassion"
Am on the waiting list! Truly needs to happen asap at this point
Had to be good for something! 🥲
Ah no way that's incredible! (Not that your friend's foot got broken obviously!!)
Thank you, it was really amazing (minus the tummy ache™)
Happy birthday! 🎉
Melissa Auf Der Maur sits on a chair and is speaking into a microphone. Behind her is a picture of the band Hole on a screen
Melissa Auf Der Maur talk tonight! So good. Disappointed I couldn't stay to meet her/get her to sign my book because gallbladder pain is back with a vengeance and I needed to go home. Bodies were a mistake!!
can't say I usually enjoy a whimsical shop sign but credit where credit's due, this made me laugh when I walked past earlier:
I also come to this as someone who has been harmed in therapy and by services so an understanding of this is helpful
