I’ll add to what zillablitz said, in that it was a vastly different experience playing the PAVN side…we tried to remain hidden, cause confusion and control information all while harassing the US/ROK/ARVN forces as much as possible.

This is the most visceral gaming experience I’ve ever had…game wise it’s very swingy (lots of dice rolls), but story-wise, it was draining! I would not recommend crossing no-man’s land in The Great War. Oof! #wwI #bgg #wargame #trenchraid #boardgame

Started a new campaign tonight using the old Star Wars West End Games D6 RPG system…nice to take a break from D&D and enjoy a little nostalgic gaming! I still have my old rule books from the 80s.

Another awesome episode! I’ve always wondered how these games were used professionally. I wasn’t sure from the conversation (and maybe it’s obvious to some), but is it safe to assume most of these games are analog as opposed to digital? There must be pros/cons to each.
