1. "And I Was There" by Edwin Layton. "The Restless Wave" by James Stavridis is a novel, but I feel like it does well in capturing the personalities of some of the naval figures of the time.

Slowing down the pleasure reading this week...still have a ton of teacher training coursework to push through. Steady progress nonetheless.

Just found out that the paper I wrote on Cesar Tarrant and presented at #McMullen2025 has been selected for inclusion in this year's "Trafalgar Chronicle" from the 1805 Club. Nice boost for the rest of the week...
