From what I understand this was expected.

I really hope we bring him back but sentimentality aside I don't think the Dodgers should overextend themselves for Teo and Teo 💯 deserves his bag and prestige. If he doesn't get it from LA he'll get it elsewhere.

No matter what, LA will love our Teo.

I just feel it's disingenuous to argue that eliminating draws doesn't come with its own set of issues, some of which in my opinion are worse than the current system. Swiss pairings system with draws is a highly successful system stretching beyond TCGs.

What if YP bricks and you win, increasing your chance to ID later and eliminating them?

What if, in your argument, you draw against the RB mirror R1 and you're both out from the get go?

To me, it feels like you're just attempting to replace a feel bad you're not cool with for one you are.

It's been so weird to me that after a decade across multiple TCGs, Lorcana is the first one where I encounter such hard pushback on IDs.

To me, they're crucial for the game to work, and players who are skilled and lucky enough to be able to utilize them should be able to.

IDs being zero disincentiveses playing the second game at all and turns 2GF into a weird BO1 Thunderdome where the player who loses the first match concedes the second.

Sometimes you're just deterministically beat, and if so you can concede and start the next game that much sooner.
