As I'll be attending my first @dinoconuk.bsky.social in July, I wanted to try something new, so I thought "coasters"! They'll be available at the con: £15 a set. Each coaster is cork-backed and 10 x 10cm.
Also happy to post them at the same price plus postage. DM me!

Mesozoic Art II is all the rage these days but here's your reminder that MESOZOIC ART - the first one - is a truly spectacular and beautiful book too, and still on sale :) Text by @sharkbitesteve.bsky.social and me, published by @chiffchat.bsky.social #books #palaeoart #paleoart
Been a while since I sold any artbooks but had a sudden run on them this week (go figure). It did give me a chance to do some drawings which I love doing. Really enjoyed the Tusken Raider and bantha. The others are a pliosaur and meal, and a yawning trike.
The comic they couldn't kill is BACK!

Currently watching THE DROMIES 2026, hosted by @rickraptor105.bsky.social www.youtube.com/watch?v=k0bp... .. and thrilled to see that MESOZOIC ART II (my @chiffchat.bsky.social book with @sharkbitesteve.bsky.social) won best book, against some very strong competition :) Thank you, thank you all.
Work in progress. Ceratosaurus portrait.
Found the pencils for this T. rex v Trike piece - a first draft of the retro artwork done for the Natural History Museum style guide. They felt it was a bit too modern-looking and I reworked it (colour version attached).
However, I decided to ink it anyway.
Original available. DM me for details.
Cheers!
Moonlit T. rex portrait for a little something I've got in mind.

With the dust settled, been looking at some of the pieces from the forthcoming (Feb 27) shark book. Quite pleased with some. These represent the effort to not just do everything blue. Spathobathis; Cretoxyrhina, and Helicoprion

Finally -- signing! Huge thanks to those who purchased copies and got us to sign them, we much appreciate it. A few drawings were done, Steve of course producing some incredibly good stuff. And that's that, it was a good evening :)

Then me. I say some stuff, and then some things. I make some bad jokes and I think I heard some laughter, it was hard to tell.

The talks. Steve @sharkbitesteve.bsky.social is up first and discusses the backstory to the Mesozoic Art books and his prior work in publishing...
Thanks, John! High praise indeed!
Got my comp copies of Judge Dredd Megazine #490 which goes on sale today and includes my first ever strip art for the Meg. Written by bestest bud Ned Hartley the story features dino-Judge Grrr! I've attached a couple of the B&Ws - hope we get to do more!
Thank you!
Thanks, y'all!
This Friday, join Steve White @sharkbitesteve.bsky.social and I at Oxford University Museum of Natural History for an evening discussion of our new book, Mesozoic Art II, published by @chiffchat.bsky.social. It's free but you have to register for tickets .... oumnh.ox.ac.uk/event/mesozo...
Axolotl tanks! I remember it well
More dino fun. My first try at Cryolophosaurus. And to live up to its name, did it a little icy.
This is actually for some merch ideas I'm playing with but original (a4) is available. DM for details.
Thank you!

Dunkleosteous makes off with the carcass of a Diplognathus while pursued by a Gorgonichthys, a Gymnotrachelus and a trio of Cladoselache. Bottom left, a Bungartius and 3 Tegeolepis exit the scene. The ruckus disturbs shoals of ammonites and osteocones.
