the old mass effect “be mean or nice“ system was too restrictive, so instead they have an innovative new system where, much like fallout 4, you can be nice in one of four slightly different tones

I can forgive the clunky combat, a million empty side quests, boring open world, useless crafting system, etc.

The worst thing about this game is that like 90% of the times I’m given a dialogue choice what I want to say is “oh my god shut the fuck up you loser“ and it’s never ever an actual option

One (1) cool thing this game does is quests will explicitly tell you if you have to progress further in the main story to get to the next objective

ME3 has a ton of side quests that are either like that, or fail when you progress too far, and there’s no way of knowing which is which ahead of time

was under the impression that it was a kind of decent game that just had a lot of bugs at launch + people threw a tantrum because there was A Transgender. but no it’s just kind of boring to play and the writing is bad

the first three mass effect games are good but kind of suck (affectionate).

there are like a hundred different tattoos you can collect and equip but 90% of them don’t matter at all because you’re wearing armor all the time. this game is fucking stupid

changes i would make to jeopardy:

1. you get to keep all the money you have even if you lose

2. you are technically allowed to skip around in the categories but if you do ken hits you as hard as he can with a baseball bat
