When a part that you hoarded years ago came in handy to revive an #Apple Thunderbolt Display. The cable is essentially a pass through TB2 cable with some DC cables to drive the MagSafe connector.

Another questionable #ipados26 UI element where you are presented with two “more options” (…) button, side by side, in the Collections section of the Photos app… Why??!
Too many times I’ve seen users running on the edge of local storage constantly swapping data between local and cloud, and not able to retrieve a big chunk off the cloud data when required.
The irony is that for cloud storage to work, you’d still need some form of local storage to be able to do the initial upload.
I didn’t know they’re still making their products locally! Last I heard a few years ago they’ve moved their production operation overseas.
Said no data hoarder ever! 😄
Have you considered an exchange of space? 1TB on your existing storage buys you 1TB of mine.

Out of curiosity, what platform/software are you using to create this microblog?
Photo of Aurora Australis against a night sky against the silhouette of houses, electrical lines and a car on the lower-right corner of frame. Sky is of purple and green hues with grey vertical streaks.
Aurora Australis? At this time of the year, in this part of the country, localised entirely within our back yard?!
Me: Yes.
What the holy UI hell is this?!? #apple #ipados26 #ios26 #liquidglass
Condolences, this looks about as evil the ones from the Lenovo Tiny M7/900-ish generation of M.2 plastic retention holder. Luckily they've updated it slightly to be less evil on the M7/920q generation.
I'd say try anything with a radio/wireless transceiver; walkie-talkies, RC cars, maybe try AM on the Walkman radio? YMMV though.
One thing to note as well with these li-ion rechargeable batteries are the amount of electrical noise they could generate from its conversion circuitry. There are reports of these batteries causing issues in electronics with sensors and radio.

Or LG 6K for about $3400?😅
That’s a bummer, the ones I’ve had a while ago were pretty decent, I do like that they’re fleshy though.
What’s your opinion of the R2E2 variety?
Ooft! That’s solid hand held effort! There’s a fair amount of details of the surface, I’d imagine it didn’t require heavy cropping?
Nice! What focal length did you end up using to capture this?

Oh, I meant those decommissioned corporate HP mini/Lenovo tiny/Dell micro boxes. I’ve consolidated stacks of my services into one of these beefed up Lenovo Tiny. 🙂
I’m surprised you don’t have more Tiny/Mini/Micro boxes around. There’s something about them that’s struck a chord with me and I’ve hoarded them for no reason.
One of these Linuses is the pinnacle of unbearableness.
