Berndt bekam nach Angaben der Stadt auf ihrer Internetseite nach Auszählung aller Wahlgebiete auf 33,8 Prozent der Stimmen, Spiegelberg kam auf 20,9 Prozent. Als dritter Kandidat erreichte Renè Hafenstein (parteilos) 17,2 Prozent, Hartmut Baranowski (AfD) bekam 10,6 Prozent. Meik von Deetzen (parteilos), Martin Kühnl-Mossner (parteilos) und Jeremy Brehme (Bündnis Deutschland) blieben jeweils unter zehn Prozent.
