I recognized this track in 0.3 seconds which means it was probably on one of those shareware CD-ROMs full of Amiga .MODs that I could play through Scream Tracker on PC (and subsequently save their samples to tinker with in my own music)

The main reason that Portal 2 CE exists is because the original game was very limited about what you could upload to the Steam Workshop. Most of the bigger Portal 2 mods were hosted elsewhere or had to apply to get store pages, like Portal Reloaded.
There's much fewer limits here.

That’s kind of you to say.” She holds her forced smile but flinches, anticipating another shock. Instead, the voice says, “you’re good at your job.” Emma, frustrated, yells, “what???” She quickly tries to add “a sweet thing to say,” but is cut off again by another shock.
