Ofc this doesn’t mean everyone, but in my experience as graphic designer + illustrator, this is what I’ve seen

I need newly graduated graphic designers to understand illustration is not something you’ll get to do in the field unless you heavily pivot your portfolio to showcase these elements. Just because you did a few drawings for projects it doesn’t mean the field will see that skill.

I don’t talk about therapy much publicly but a few sessions ago I found out I had basically took empathy too literally and was TOO empathetic to the point it was harming me. It’s the most alien I’ve felt in a long time and has made everything a lot more confusing for me LOL

Nurture, specifically Musician, was such a driving force for me to become a freelance artist. I deal with chronic depression and Nurture came out when I was dealing with a really bad bout of it. It really helped me heal and set new goals for myself to improve my outlook on life.
