But when it comes to AI, that's not possible. If a piece of AI generated art manages to make me feel anything for even a second (and I can't think of a time it has) I'd feel manipulated. There's no shared experience there, no human I can connect with on the other end. Just a machine manipulating me.

Connecting with others through art is incredibly therapeutic. Finding meaning in and recognising my own experiences and struggles mirrored in other's work can be so powerful and healing. And I'm thankful to the artists who can express like this far better than I could ever hope to.

I was thinking, when I admire any piece of art (game, book, etc) and it really connects with me, I feel a deeper understanding of myself, solidarity with the artists and closer to the rest of humankind.

How's the atmosphere? As a huge WoD fan I have a higher tolerance than most for shitty games in this universe. But I'm expecting this to be in a deep sale fast so I'm holding on for now.

Even though I only won 1 match over the whole weekend, my local encouraged me to share my results in our Discord to celebrate. This weekend has absolutely fueled me to continue playing and to get better and to keep building relationships. I'm so grateful to every single one of you, local or global.

In March I attended my first local but was too scared to play or even talk to anyone. This w/e I entered my first major tourny and had the most incredible time with so many great people. I'm so glad I found my local FGC and I hope to meet many more of you as I keep improving. #VSFightingXIII #fgc
