Today it has been reported that the Government are expected to end the current session of Parliament the week of 27 April.
The Government committed to publish a draft Bill to ban conversion practices by the end of the parliamentary session. This was set out in their manifesto and in the last King’s speech.
This means that the Government have only a month to publish the draft bill which they promised, otherwise they will on their commitment. Time is running out.
Conversion practices are abuse and the LGBTQ+ community have waited long enough. We’re calling on the Government to honour its commitment and end this hard for good. They have one month to act.

They are ineffective, unscientific and inflict actual harm.
Four (almost) successive PMs committed to ending conversion practices yet we are still waiting on legislation.
This Government now has only a month to honour their commitment.

The government could have overruled the Supreme Court misjudgement, but CHOSE not to.
Yet it still pretends it cannot change the ruling & has to "abide by" it.
