An important note within the attacks against the Jewish community taking place right now, where grooming young people is seemingly a key part of their model. It shows that simply policing is not enough.

This headline reads a farce, and it is, but it is also a tragedy. There are likely over 100,000 people – one hundred thousand lives – that have prevented from being saved from war and persecution in each of these four years.

Jews have been standing against hate since Pharoah. Proud to be a part of this diverse community, city, and country.

We are community of migrants and a community totally reliant on migration to nourish and sustain us. When the Tories look at us, all they see is a political football. It's a tired routine we see through.

This antisemitic arson attack is pressure on an already open wound. And because of how news spreads, this will reverberate across the diaspora, making many Jewish communities feel unsafe, unstable, and alone.

The only way out of this is with our neighbours. Safety will come from community.

Rightwing narrative fuelling false belief UK public oppose net zero, study finds Reform, Tory and some media rhetoric runs contrary to poll showing far more voters for net zero than against it

This is exactly what happened with refugees and migrants. There comes a point where public support flips after bonbardment. A shame no one listens when we say if you let the right win on migration, they will win on everything. www.theguardian.com/environment/...

The fact that Nick Timothy is still in the Shadow Cabinet shows Britain now has two major parties standing on a clear platform of hatred toward Muslims.

A Israeli brigade commander told Palestinians in the Jordan valley that the IDF plans to remove all Palestinians currently living in "Area C" - that's 60% of the West Bank - within a year.

IDF spokesperson was asked for comment and did not deny this.

And as @sabirzazai.bsky.social said elsewhere, "imagine spending a fraction of this to help people rebuild lives, integrate and make a contribution. We would all win."

"Let us administer the poison so that Reform doesn't get to" is morally wrong, politically disastrous, and totally ineffective.

In a world of political football where 'political courage' only means beating up the vulnerable - never caring for them - every minority group is fair game.

I’m not entirely sure what the strategic value of killing a man (if they have) in his 80s, on poor health, who’s spent decades preaching about the value of martyrdom. Especially when you’ve said you want to do negotiations again in within 36 hours. But maybe expecting any kind of plan is elitist.

250 days ago, the Israeli and Iranian militaries were bombing one another. Today, they are doing so once again. The reasons will not change, the lessons will not be learned, and the civilians will keep paying the price.

It's 100% this - voters are rejecting tired race-baiting on immigration and rejecting inauthentic politics. No one believes the Labour Party back their attacks on migrants, and they find that hypocrisy and inathenticity even more galling.

Strip away the 'edgy' rhetoric, and Reform are just offering the same tired ideas that successive governments have tried and failed with.

We deserve a real alternative that prioritises how we all grow and earn together.

Reform UK would reimpose two-child benefit cap Robert Jenrick says the country cannot afford to

Reform's agenda won’t just hurt migrants - it will entrench hardship for working-class communities of every background.

Record high child poverty is the direct result of the very austerity policies Reform’s cabinet pushed when they were in the Conservative Party.

The sad truth is that many orgs & leaders have been primed for years for this.

They've been conditioned to think:

1. Jews are more uniquely in danger than others

2. Even if others are in danger, we must protect ourselves first

3. It's okay to work with fascists if they claim to be on your side

‘Pulling up the drawbridge’: Alf Dubs criticises Shabana Mahmood’s plans for child refugees Exclusive: Labour peer, who came to UK as a refugee, says some ministers try to show they won’t ‘just do things because of their background’ Shabana Mahmood, the home secretary, whose parents migrated to the UK from Pakistan, is facing the suggestion from a veteran Labour peer that she is “pulling up the drawbridge once inside” when considering the plight of refugee children trapped abroad. Alf Dubs, who came to the UK aged six in 1939 fleeing the persecution of Jews in Nazi-occupied Czechoslovakia, said the home secretary and other ministers had “kowtowed” to Nigel Farage’s Reform UK by preventing unaccompanied children from seeking refuge with UK-based family members. If politicians really cared about about Jewish life, this project would've been a nonstarter. London has no Jewish Museum, probably the largest Jewish diaspora community not to have one. Jews deserve to remembered for more than their darkest moments. Build a befitting museum, then we can talk.

This headline makes a mockery of both British Jews and for concept of asylum and safety. We are a community of refugees and those who welcomed them. We should all refuse to be a part of these games.
