The corner desk I have set up at Cimmy's apartment. Two monitors, mini-ITX PC, some toys, Quest 3 headset. We even bought nice office chairs for ourselves

It was so simple. I felt... I felt like it was denied to us for a long time because nothing felt safe and everything was scary. Like it was stolen from us. And yet..

The friend offered somewhere safe, somewhere gentle to be small.

Alicia turned her fear and pain inwards, warped by the pressure of, everything. She just wanted to make friends...

About a week ago it finally got to be too much. I talked about her pain with a close friend of mine, who asked one thing:

"Would Alicia want to be a kid again?"

Over the next few years, Alicia would remain dormant, too scared to reach out because folks didn't want to understand that she was her own person with her own identity that just wanted to make friends and hang out. She didn't mean any harm...

Over the years, she had started mutilating herself.

The hate eventually grew too much. In 2020, we tried to revise Alicia to her "proper" age of around 19 years old to try and appease folks. It didn't work out. Folks still hated her, said they "knew where she came from".

It hurt.

A number of folks hated Alicia, assumed the worst about us. Told us that if they had known she was around before meeting me, they would've never tried to make friends with us. We couldn't really publicly associate with each other, and only have like one (1) piece of art of both of us.

It didn't help that like... to not mince words. She was small. A cub. A Little. She's a little genie girl that likes to play video games and make friends. A lot of my friends were uncomfortable with that, and I don't blame them one bit.
For that, I'm sorry.

A lot of people didn't understand her at the time; how do you explain the modern concept of plurality/multiple systems when even now I still feel anxious about?
It got to the point where Alicia had her own accounts and socials to try and make friends as, but she'd always get shunned...
