RIP Internet meme legend Chuck Norris. Good time to revisit my favourite Chuck joke from a wee Scottish wido "Giraffes didny exist untill Chuck Norris uppercutted a horse!"

Of all the reasons to dislike Trump, my pettiest has to be his insistence on a 'western hemisphere'. Its a sphere rotating on an axis at the North and South. East and West are relative to where you happen to be. USA is northern hemisphere. FFS he's closer to Japan than the "central hemisphere"

The Plough- how so?

Those bastards Trump and Vance tried to blame Iran for doing this to their own citizens. Absolute genocidal, war mongering fuck wits

Keep dreaming for the future though Gerry. Vision and clarity is always valuable

Great match for a 0-0 that Rangers v Celtic game. Nasty scenes at thr end though. Disgraceful behaviour

Bonus point for 4 tries. Scotland got one too

Tbh I think once the fourth try for France went in the game was done and Scotland pretty much checked out. Worthy winners and final score made it look closer than it really was. We stopped France getting their game going for almost all the first 65 minutes

Enjoyed the egg chasing today. Best Scotland performance in years .... until the last 10 minutes or so

And the other one would be green. Why don't they use team colours for clarity?

If I did there would have been a red line ๐Ÿ˜‰

Have to agree to disagree I think. Looks pretty close if you draw knee down to toe but still definitely onside

Tbf he did come across poorly and sorely in his interview but I thought that was a relevant point in amongst his grumbling. It was close and they should have drawn it. Even though I do think it was ultimately correct

Looks to me it would be a touching line but just inside the blue one

1 month ago 0 0 0 0

You dont think the dons manager had a valid point that not drawing the second line makes it look like they didnt do it properly. I do think he is on side but its a bit daft to not draw the knee line when you can see the toe is pretty close so its clear a proper job has been done

There probably is, but his knee is the closest point, not the foot and that's what ought to be clear and isnt without the dotty line

Why isnt there a line for Nygren? Like he is probably onside but shouldn't there be one from his knee?

If I have learned anything over the last couple of days, it is that Badenoch would be outrageously gung ho and dragging the UK through the shit sort of leader as everything about her previously suggested. A wild card lunatic with no regard for law or sovereignty of other states. What a choice

That time frame would suggest since the Ayotollah took charge. The direct result of upset caused by the CIA/MI6 Operation Ajax coup that replaced the democratically elected regime. You reaped what you sowed and think doing it again will give a better yield?

For those following my walk the length of Scotland to raise money for Cancer Research, there's been a photo update on the fund-raising page. Link in the comments. In the meantime, here's some of my favourite photos from the latest leg - the John O'Groats trail.

Having been on the buses between Brora and Wick pretty extensively recently, this is fabulous news. They are real lifeline services. Great initiative!

On the subject of Araujo too, would kind of like to see what he can do as a deep midfielder played there. He has that sort of fiesty, drive and decent use of the ball that makes me think he would be quite handy there

Also thought Souttar got away with a few possible yellows in there and by letter of law Sterling should have been booked at the actual pen too

1 month ago 1 0 2 0

Tbf that could have been a penalty but I can also see why it wouldn't be given a certain amount of grappling seems to be acceptable. Not saying it should be, mind. More of a pen than Tounetki and the claim for Rangers when Raskin got a nudge in the back from Araujo.

I don't really like to get into theoreticals on these things. There was enough actually happened to think about

If you mean the tug on Tounetki's shirt I think that would be a very soft decision given he was giving some back too. The actual penalty, I cam understand him missing in real time as I thought it was a keeper save myself first time

Tbf I dont think anyone including the players other than Sterling and maybe Maeda knew it was a handball first time of watching. Wrong, but understandable given it was congested. He did the right thing after review though

Great just what we need. The hung-ho roasters turning it into a holy war
