...as for the political/world-stage situation.
the only thing im really surprised by is that my city has an actually good mayor. that's a genuine shock. everything else is about where i assumed it would be (negative)

my 20s were the fucking Roxie Decade of Humiliation and my teens weren't much better, so i didn't expect to be anywhere near as "on my feet" as i am now. im glad i got free, or rather that i was "thrown clear" as it were, of the cult-ass bullshit i was stuck in, and im glad im mostly moving forwards

Gotta stress again how a lot of the kindest, most welcoming, most respectful, and most supportive friends I’ve met online are actually those who are into icky gross disgusting problematic fiction. They're the best and honestly the chillest people to be around. I feel safer when I'm around them.
