When I finished my thesis, I was deeply concerned about the potential impacts of the intrinsic relationship between the alt-right and contemporary capitalism. I could already see the legitimisation and normalisation of racist and xenophobic violence coming…

I’ve been following closely what is happening in the US, not only because it is directly linked to my research, but because it’s impossible to witness the testimonies of immigrants, including children, without feeling deep pain and sadness.
