Let's be straight with each other. Following the IYC in 2012, many of us sought to applify #coops via the hastag. Like the Coop marque, it wasn't widely adopted and fell short of achieving what it should have.
If we don't wear the badge and speak with one voice we miss the opportunity. #cooperativa

Now is the time. A dictator should be pushed back against. #coops
Amazing. Good luck peeps. Wishing you every success.
To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. I've withdrawn all but a pound and refuse to save with a society that acts in this manner. #buildingsociety

If only we'd learn from the recent past. The many examples should be able to guide #coops to learn from the exemplary examples of great cooperation. Sadly many of our leaders unaware of the real benefits of applying the principles. At the top level we suffer with chancers and wannabe celebrities.

We're in a miserable position. Stuck between a rock and a hard place.
I'm not sure this govt. is up to the challenge, but time will tell.
Housing and the greed that is associated with it requires action. #coops
Facial recognition investment may not have been worth it. Members / customers who are aware, have shown how frustrated they are..? #coops
#coops need cooperators. Hope you're well.
Cooperative UK is not a 'coop'. Is a trade body, lapping up £, to pay poor wages to dedicated individuals.
You'll do well to stop me. Gardens looking great and an great atmosphere yesterday. Wish I could visit more often.
The new addition to the beer garden is impressive. If you're ever in West Yorks, do plan a trip to the @foxandgoose.org #coops
Faith restored by an AGM. Great to hear of the progress and amazing work being done by the team and the board. Pubs are struggling, but cooperation has added benefits #coops #iyc2025
To those still in CUK: I see you. Keep going. You deserve better. And I hope you get it. You will, but members will suffer until that day comes. Personalities are poor and are always found out.
I still believe in the movement. I just wish the 'coop' had lived up to the values it claims to represent.
Bullies are vile people.
Leadership may come and go, but it's the everyday people keeping the values alive. My respect for them remains deep and unchanged.
What I miss most? The people. The members. The colleagues. The ones who actually make the co-op movement work. They're brilliant, and too often underappreciated.
I'm still processing what happened, and considering legal action. No one should be pushed out like that, especially after years of service and belief in the mission.
It’s been a month since I left Co-operatives UK after 13 years in the membership team. Not by choice. I was treated unfairly and left with no real option but to go.
I am au fait with hastags and should have used the #coops hastag. Not that anyone else has cared about 'amplifying' the movement in recent years.
I've a couple of names I could add to the list of dedicated cooperators we've seen leave the movement in recent years. Experience and passion are priceless. They are sorely missed.
Education from early years. Cooperatives really need to be on the curriculum. #coops
Utter madness.
Passive cooperation is one option, but it doesn't help the movement. #coops
Let's not discuss, just yet, being morally corrupt. I may end up in court, which to be honest, I'd relish. #coops
