What's that you say!
It was all just fear pushing by bad faith groups and that trans women pose no threat to cisgender women.

Yeah for real. And they were incredible. Really excited for Olivia Dean's win, and what a closer to her speech. Timely and humble.
I dunno, the best new artist segment of performers were really well done.
There is far more outrage from tech leaders over a wealth tax than masked ICE agents terrorizing communities and executing civilians in the streets. Tells you what you need to know about the values of our industry.
OpenAI exec James Dyett calling out the cowardice
In Minneapolis they're literally shutting down whole blocks and going door to door without warrants. The local TV news channels have segments to explain to folks their constitutional rights in that situation, it's that much of a thing.
New Product Blog is out about the first tactical steps to actually do a real transformation to a Product Operating Model:
ICE is accusing the woman who was shot to death by an ICE agent today in Minneapolis of "weaponizing her vehicle" and "attempting to run over our law enforcement officers in an attempt to kill them -- an act of domestic terrorism"

AOC to @pabloreports.bsky.social : A swastika is one of the clearest symbols of hatred in all of humanity… to remove that designation… indicates a possible collaboration with those very elements, which I think is genuinely frightening to any American.
AOC: I want to remind you where the real crime is. It's in the oligarchs taking $170 billion of our money from health care and food assistance and public programs and taking that and funneling it into a secret police program.
I am reliably informed that my book has made an excellent gift for a large number of dads and dad types (non-gendered), if you need a gift for a dad or dad type in your life!!
The entire 2016 election was really a tale about two enemies scorned by the love of the same man
From the New York Times story on the pressure campaign to get Republicans to reverse their epstein vote Top officials met in the White House Situation Room on Wednesday with Representative Lauren Boebert, a Colorado Republican who is backing an effort to force a House vote on whether to demand the release of the files. She was summoned to sit down with top Justice Department and F.B.I. officials, according to two people familiar with the matter. One of the people said the session included Attorney General Pam Bondi and F.B.I. Director Kash Patel. Both people spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to comment on the private discussions.
My god (sorry I’m late on a bunch of this stuff. But wow!)
According to this NYT report, the head of the FBI and the Attorney General are holding meetings *in the Situation Room* with GOP lawmakers they are trying to pressure to rescind their votes to release the Epstein info. This is madness.
NEW: Jeffrey Epstein said in emails that he had been advising the Russian government on how to deal with Donald Trump, one of several cases in which he wielded his connections to try to influence the course of foreign affairs. w @nahaltoosi

Two things:
1) they are probably trying to protect themselves from THIS administration
2) they are also mostly corrupt as an institution and want to protect their corruption
By the way, the Senate with the law to avoid wiretaps unless notified in advance - it's to avoid corruption charges in the future too. It wasn't JUST about the J6 folks. It's ALL of them into the future.
@democrats.org no longer deserve our support for this absolute stupidity. This might be the absolute most idiotic thing they've ever done.
Folks, we need a new party. Working Families. Democratic Socialists. We need a REAL opposition. These people are inept and unable to lead.
The world's RICHEST COUNTRY EVER, and we don't mandate a minimum wage that does that, because we don't believe these are inherent rights and qualities to be considered a human being.
We live in a country where the government does not mandate that employers have to pay people enough to afford food, rent, utilities, and transportation as a bare minimum.
I am still SO ANGRY about Democrats capitulating. I mean, this was by far the stupidest thing I've ever fucking seen in my entire life of watching incompetence and cowardice lead the way.
At the end of the day, the government has just asked its citizens to choose between ensuring the population is adequately fed, or that the population has adequate healthcare, so that we don't have to add taxes to the ultra-wealthy just a little bit.
We do NOT deserve @heathergay.bsky.social.

One of the biggest mergers of the year, worth $49 billion, comes just weeks after the Trump administration linked the common painkiller to autism, which the company is fighting.
I don't know what the right answer is for this fight, but both are important and valid, and I think we, on the left, need to realize what we are asking of a LOT of people on assistance to sacrifice while we stick to our guns. It feels our messaging is not in line with asking that of those folks.
I hear a lot of liberals who don't have SNAP benefits arguing to keep the shutdown and fighting for healthcare.
Valid point: Healthcare is a necessary human right and we need to not make it worse.
Counter: we're asking millions to go hungry as a concession to win.
Hey, you guys, I've made a name for myself as a mediocre data product manager. (I truly am an idiot)
And, I can tell you this much ... From everything I've read and experienced - too many companies need to invest HEAVILY into their underfunded data platforms and orgs, or else the AI is a money pit.
Can we talk about #WelcomeToDerry?! Because episode 2 had a scene that had me in a full blown panic for this character and it was absolutely astonishing film, audio, staging, effects. I was blown away.
What a TERRIFYING show.
