I like bob for being cheaper over darkstar augur, because the dean works based on life gained in a turn. we have a bunch of incidental 1-2 lifegain type things, and being cheaper means easier to pull back.

Probably not for your deck, in looking for counter synergies, Lux Artillery is fascinating with things like Sun Droplet or Angelheart Vial, which stack up counters faster than you can otherwise consume them. Even ignoring the sunburst text. Might be a good fit for a deck w/Angelheart vial

Morbid Opportunist also a tradeoff in the same space, if you're good on type and want to focus on your own deaths, not theirs. Might also work to keep people from hemming and hawing about their creatures dying benefitting you so they don't want to act.

A good question. I feel like maybe Darkstar Augur can go? An extra body when cast, but not when reanimated, and Midnight Reaper's going to play better with the deck's theme and get you cards for cheaper life, but more damage.

You don't _seem_ to be in the market for plink-or-wrath-type effects (might be too much for tier 3 if it's too good) but Crypt Rats, Pestilence, and Pestilence Demon all do damage, not life loss, and Pestilence Demon is big enough to just play at that power level, probably.

So we're looking for damage-not-lifeloss, or charge counters. Looking at that you have Sun Droplet in on similar triggers, transfers could be done to Black Market that make this useful?

Midnight Reaper seems like a good card for the deck that does damage, not life loss, to replace a draw engine
