The problem is, someone can just decide to submit a claim without specifying what they claim is AI generated, so now I'm doing guesswork of my own and have to make contact with the six artists and cartographers I commissioned and have this embarrassing and degrading conversation.

To be clear, I don't blame DriveThruRPG for this. They're just the storefront hosting it. However, Wet Dreams and Rook & the Crook were both hosted there **at DTRPG/Roll20's request**. These were just on my Shopify page until DriveThru reached out and asked me to put them on there as well.

Well... I guess it's karma, but it has now happened to me. Despite showing off concept artwork, doing a huge chunk of writing on livestream, and my openly outspoken anti-AI stance, Wet Dreams and Rook & the Crook have been accused of containing AI generated content.

I for one love that we artists now have to, at any given time, be able to show proof that we’re human and disclose our exact process and even provide layered original files in this tribunal of the arts. Makes me really appreciate what AI is doing for our industry.

I have a theory that loathing beyond all reason is related to an unresolved high school crush in some way.

Anti-art stuff? High school crush chose an artist.
Aggressively craps on "sportsball"? Crush only dated jocks.
Rampant transphobia? Crush was trans & read them for filth.

And so on.

What if humanity's creative instinct was regressed & stunted by insecure hustleholics, desperate to reclaim what they think was stolen from them by the artist their high school crush dated instead of them?

What if it turns out J&tA was fine the way it was & y'all burned the sky for no good reason?!

What if, instead of learning new things about ourselves, or expressing the zeitgeist of our brief unique windows upon mortality, or adding to existence's forever-weaving tapestry, we just sat in a corner polishing away all those gorgeous irreplaceable human touches for an uncritical audience?

What if we just spent all of our resources reimagining & polishing old art instead of making new art?

What if generations of our future became obsessed with reiterating the same art over & over again, seeking an unattainable perfection instead of finding & sitting with beautiful imperfection?

Its schrodinger's argument. He made an argument but also didn't actually say anything of substance, so whenever people point that out he can pretend they're not refuting his points. He's not that clever, but that is what a dumbass would do

It illustrates that if we didn't criticize him now, he would be doing something else a month from now that could cause the community immense reputational damage.

As we saw during the stream, I only had access to the material on hand. If I didn't, that's only because Noah deleted the material off his channel the moment I glanced at it. He also revised his original apology AGAIN, which I think is a much louder statement.

I learned that Noah is apparently doubling down by focusing on the Kamelot part. This is a relatively small part of the video meant to show a pattern of behavior. The fact Noah is addressing the detail I spent ten minutes on and not taking accountability for the other 170 minutes is disappointing.
