And all of this is stolen from countless game developers who made buildings, textures, animations, rigs, lighting, shaders, doodads. Many of whom don't have jobs right now either

Backed by the Heritage Foundation and Big Tech, KOSA will force everyone to upload their ID to access the internet. In an age when Palantir has direct ties to ICE, where technofascists are in power and want to eliminate and censor everything, we CANNOT allow KOSA to pass.

It NEEDS mass pushback.

probably a late change, like their isn't like. a comic or any other lore they have to worry about so i can see them being like "eh maybe don't call them bride and groom"

7 months ago 0 0 0 0

like i do think it's very strange because they clearly want like. the fantasy without fully commiting, like yeah kiriko is dressed like a bride but it's not because she's getting married at 21 it's like. because she's a flower goddess or whatever. symbolism

i mean yeah but they're still going out of their way to avoid straight up calling them "bride skins" for SOME reason.

Crystal Rose - Universe | League of Legends Wiki Crystal Rose is a series of alternate future/universe skins in League of Legends. Set in a world where champions attend the annual Crystal Rose Festival to form alliances and negotiate truces.

wiki.leagueoflegends.com/en-us/Univer... they'res also way too many of these skins so i guess they're selling well

i think they're low key inspired by the "Crystal Rose" skins in league of legends, which the lore explanation for them is that it's like. a met gala which a crystal white dress code, but in practice their just weddings skins without the wedding naming

I don’t have animosity towards Vtubers but the culture is so bizarre to me because it’s like all the same psycho shit involving Twitch streamers getting canceled but if they were also doing a puppet show people made horny fan art of.

does the weapon color also affect her spear or is it just her gun?

1 year ago 0 0 1 0

i want to say moira because you give off the vibe that you play her alot more but i think it'd be more noticable with orisa.

i understand why they did the whole tank/damage/healer role queue, but i do miss when overwatch hero design was allowed to be alot more flexible, like let torb give out armor packs i dunno why he JUST has to do damage.

1 year ago 3 0 1 0

i hate when ow fans say she needs to be reworked in a tank cause like. i personally think it's fun when dps have utility actually. like maybe soldier shouldn't be the only dps who heals allies too, let other roles do other things too please.

Overwatch 2 screenshot of Kiriko wearing her Bai Ze skin, which is a long blue dress with white and silver accents, looking like waves of water and a heart shape on her back. She also has a fox tail and pink antlers, with two long white pieces of hair and silver snowflake crown. She is is contemplating with her eyes closed, with blue clouds behind her, illuminated by twilight. A huge burst of energy is coming at her as she sits, meditating.

but that's why i get annoyed when people brag about "the last of us" finally "proving that video games are art" because it really has nothing to do with the actual strengths of the medium but just. the fact the game has a good story i guess. one that's easy to adapt to a hbo show or whatever

1 year ago 0 0 0 0

that being said i do think alot of gamers really shitty reading comprehension which i do think is as much an important skill for enjoying the medium as like. dash canceling or doing a sick hyper combo i dunno i'm not good at video games.

1 year ago 0 0 1 0

I think that’s also why there’s a lot of discourse on weather you can be a fan of a video game just from watching let’s plays as opposed to actually playing the game which i personally don’t think matters that much, but i understand what the difference is for most people.

(that and due to like anime budgeting, the drawings tend to look a lot less detailed and kind of goofy looking, and seeing them move as opposed to be still images also kind of ruins it for alot of people, like the downgrade is mostly a budgeting issue but still)

Like alot of criticisms of like. animated adaptions of Junji ito’s work, is that his artwork is alot more scarier and suspenseful when you yourself have to turn the page and have control over the narrative as opposed to just watching where it's suddenly not particularly frightening

1 year ago 0 0 1 0

like it's alot easier to say a watch a movie and not really pay attention or even just miss key elements as oppose to reading that same story where you got alot more time to just take in what your experiencing, but also it's genuinely more difficult for alot of people to just like. read

1 year ago 0 0 1 0

that's a fair point but i'm not sure "passive" is supposed to be like. an inherent diss but rather pointing out that the amount of like. agency required from the audience to continue the story can really affect their engagement and how much they actually take away from said art
