Ep85: Krillin mogged Dragon Ball’s Andre The Giant, just to get decimated by Chioutzu 😭
Yamcha & Tien probably had the most one-sided rivalry til Vegeta & Cui
The hype around King Chappa. Bros legacy is being a R card on Dokkan, and maybe Uub’s teacher before the tournament
Posts by Buckerooni / Bukarrot
Ep84: Roshi needing a 💩 is really carrying his alibi for being missing here
Launch out here considering hijacking an airplane just for her sakes
Gotta appreciate Roshi’s comeback at Shen for knowing how to go bald properly lol
The tournament is almost about to begin!
Ep83: So a fox that was bullied is saved by the hero and then befriends him. Either this was a story from Journey to the West that I’m not aware of, or I just discovered Tail’s true origin story
1 episode left ig until the WT arc begins. But I think I should see that 2nd PSA now
Ep82: The debut of Tien and Chioutzu (and some Crane School lore)
I’m starting to suspect that being exposed to Turtle School training gives realistic visions of loved ones being attacked. How else did Bulma imagine that beast?
Ep81: Oh hey it’s those characters from Dokkan
It’s really interesting seeing DB lore (unintentionally I’m assuming) being foreshadowed here
Also Puar is training too? He gotta be strong too right?
Ngl that ending really left me confused, like their leader wanted to lose?
Ep80: This was one of the weaker eps. The story doesn’t naturally flow, eg. Goku is hungry, he saves an old lady’s shirt from the river, instead of asking for food he asks if there’s a strong fighter nearby?? what.
There’s a lot of character inconsistencies here.
Ep79: This is a basic retread of when Oolong took over a village & the Muscle Tower arc, mixed in with some Mad Max influences
In hindsight, that sealing gourd would’ve been an interesting setup to the Mafuuba. But this seems slightly more broken (except if the enemy can fly ig)
Ep77: Wait the others didn’t come to see Oopa get his dad back? Damn wait Krillin never got see Shenron until the end of the Namek saga??
I wonder if Oopa climbed Korin’s tower…
Time for the WT training arc, I guess?? So about 5 or 6 episodes of it until it actually begins.
Ep77: Have they confirmed Pilaf Machine for Sparking Zero, and will the Ostrich Form finally make its debut?
Still crazy to think that this is the same Mai from the Future Trunks Saga (hell, even for the prologue of the Super Hero arc).
Only 1 episode for this arc to finished!
Ep76: Might be the most emotional moment from the series. So glad that they brought back Baba back for the Buu saga
It’s so strange that Gohan likes women a lot, but never showed Goku a single one when he was alive (was he a celibate??)
Well 2 more eps left
Ep75: Goku was lowkey mogging Gohan until he took advantage of that tail weakness
Im not a fan of them revealing who the masked fighter is in the end of the ep, before even Goku gets to learn who he is
I’ll say that animation is so much more expressive here
Ep74: It’s pretty cool to see how the Devil Might Beam is meant to work. BT3 doesn’t do it justice, but I hope Sparking Zero does
I just realised, with the many suggestions that Goku is stronger than Roshi, that also means that Grandpa Gohan surpassed him too
Ep73: The ep is titled “Devil Might Beam” but it’s used as a cliffhanger for the very end. Is Devil Man blue because he’s blue balling us?
This made me realise that the DAIMA DLCs for Kakarot had a huge missed opportunity of not inserting him as a side quest
WAIT I CAN EXPERIENCE WEEKLY JOJO’S FOR THE FIRST TIME!! NETFLIX LEARNED!! #STEELLBALLRUN #JoJosBizarreAdventure
Ep72: So Yamcha gets his ass beat throughout. I wonder how Reincarnated Yamcha handled this fight? Surely he must’ve won, right?
Puar technically should’ve costed him a DQ by interfering but idk why Baba doesn’t say anything about that
Well it’s finally time for Goku to step up
Ep71: Welp it’s the ep where Yamcha beats the Invisible man (idk if I should find it funny how Roshi is secretly proud of Krillin lol)
I think it’s strange that no one asks Bulma to pay Baba for the last DB info. And Goku was willing to stop fighting before he gets his turn??
They murdered him on AEW 😔
Ep70: Dracula’s dance has that early Newgrounds animation
It’s interesting how overconfident Krillin was until the Saiyan arc changed everything
Idk what’s funny, Oopa T-posing to beat Dracula or the many implications in the series that Jesus existed in this universe lmao
Ep69: I realised that I forgot how they even found out Baba until this ep.
I think this is the first time Goku feels embarrassed (even after he had to pretend to be a girl)
Goku calling her “Fortune smeller Baba” was funny too lol
Now it’s time for Baba’s trials…
Ep68: (forgot to post yesterday’s ep) well the RR arc is over, and so is the nothing burger journey of Bulma & Pals reaching the RR base just for Goku to beat everyone (I wouldn’t have minded this, but it took so much screen time).
I guess I can watch the Path to Power film now
Ep67: I know that his name is Black, but I don’t like the way Red says it… well I’m glad that he’s dead
Does Violet have any sorta character trait? She does 1 job, gets into a nothing burger clash with Bulma’s plane, and done
I love that I recognise Black’s suit from Sand Land
Ep66: We really need a new OG Dragon Ball game. Imagine storming into the Red Ribbon HQ
Also forgot to mention in the last ep, Launch is now cool with everyone especially after robbing them?
Only 2 more eps left and then the Red Ribbon arc will be over
Ep65: Violet out here saving a monkey? To think that Red is her baby daddy…
Roshi seeing cheeks through Bulma’s drone was funny, but the Turtle telling her that she could’ve made a phone got a chuckle from me lol
Also got to see an AMV of Gokus Red Ribbon adventure in the end
Ep64: Goku dead ahh laughing at Bulma being 🍆less
Tao gets a Temu Kintoun
Bulma fixes her new Dragon Radar while Roshi continues to perv on her
In hindsight with the Sacred Water, I think it should’ve been revealed that it was fake before Tao gets himself killed
Ep63: I’m picking up on how they re-use and loop the action to pad out for time.
I learned a lil while ago that there’s a filler ep of Tao going to Korin’s tower, but atm it the pacing is a bit all over the place.
Theres even a scene at Roshis where Bulma is making a Goku radar
Ep62: The debut of senzu beans!
It’s funny that a vision from Bulma teaching pilates was what Goku needed to catch the water.
I was surprised that Korin throwing the Dragon Ball to the ground didn’t become a filler mission, like in the Wii game
Now it’s time for the rematch!
Ep61: It’s so weird seeing how disciplined Tao is, knowing how cowardly he becomes later on
I was surprised at how quick reached Korin’s tower. This isn’t like a Snake Way situation
Also theres so much wacky stuff at Korin’s, who knows how much of it could’ve been useful later
Ep60: Tao makes Goku look like an amateur fighter, and hes somehow more respectful towards Middle Easterns than the Netanyahu ppl
I think they re-used Goku’s kamehameha from the tournament (mainly saying cus I recognise the motion and saw the ground tiles)
Now Goku is climbing!
Ep59: Tao greets saying “Aloha” does that mean he’s Hawaiian?
Its funny how Korin is suspected to be an old man here lol & RIP Blue
There was this moment when Goku watches Upa and his dad bond, and it may have foreshadowed the dad’s death but I think Goku misses his grandpa 👀
