Isn't this the same news that came out from Peter Byrne back in 2019?
Yes, because they are popularly generated. Here is the origin of the Not Deer: sharonahill.com/the-uncanny-...
Wow! Sabres!!!!
There are ALWAYS that off-the-rails 20% who go with the extreme. Every poll. This tells me that no sane person is on board with this at all.
This week's episode of The AP Strange Show was a fun one, as I had a conversation about cryptozoology with the wonderful writer, researcher, and "Strange claims adjustor" Sharon A. Hill!

Then they might die instead? Idiotic. But if that's their choice...
@forteanlondon.bsky.social I wasn't able to catch more than 10 minutes of the live stream today. Wondering when it will be available to rewatch? The ticketed URL is now closed. :-(
Friggin’ dumbass.
Oklahoma attack inspires cryptid speculation (UPDATE: DNA results) The results are not that mysterious.

Got a new Kobo Clara delivered today and I have to return it. The contrast is poor, it's so small that it's not usable for PDFs. Strains my eyes. Feels so cheap. I was looking forward to playing with a new device. Such a disappointment. I have to stick with an ipad as an e-reader.
Still! If I share a page from Firefox iOS to here, the link doesn’t come over. Sloppy.
No. I have NEVER heard anyone call it a plesi-AH-sa-rus. There may be an exception, but I've only ever heard "saurus" pronounced as "SOR-rus", particularly from experts, even British ones.
I heard a non-expert mention Nessie as "plesi-AH-sa-rus" instead of a "Pleeze-e-o-saur-us" in a audiobook and I almost spit out my drink. Ouch.

I agree. I can't stand that column. Stopped reading it.
I suspect is full steam ahead for pop cryptid cultural framing. I don’t see much “zoology” happening in this sphere anymore.
I pondered what the future of the bigfooters will look like without the key pieces - PGF and Meldrum. Obviously, it won’t disappear but it will not attract the “Bigfoot curious” people like in the past. Plus, exposure by Lewis & Bartlett also good timing.
New NASA photo promises to shut down flat-Earthers — did it work?
No. "One true believer remarked on the new image, “Looks flat to me, it just looks a little round because they are using a fishy eye lens.”" Remarkable how Flat Earthers resemble Bigfooters these days.

Kennedy canceled $500 million in mRNA research and announced no new mRNA projects will ever be initiated—killing the technology that produced the fastest vaccine rollout in human history.
I am NOT pleased with the new Forsytes on PBS. The casting is ridiculous. The story has been warped for the worse. Do yourself a favor and watch the older version which is on PBS. Superior acting, settings, story and characters.
Just lowered the price on several of my books in Pango Store (US): Evolution, fossils, science, etc. All in great condition. pangobooks.com/bookstore/sp...
It's not typical to see this bird species up close. But, once again, the argument that locals "know" all the native animals is totally busted. Giant bird sighting on NE China highway sparks costume, AI speculation (reposted because preview not working) www.globaltimes.cn/page/202603/...

Our brains aren’t able to sustain outrage day in and day out. So we move on because we have to. And hideous people take advantage of that, knowing we’ll move on.
