Nigel Farage Has Personally Accepted £675,000 from Foreign Sources Reform UK leader Nigel Farage has accepted more than half a million pounds from foreign companies, governments, and donors while serving as an MP, DeSmog can reveal. Since July 2024, when he was elect...

“Farage rarely turns up to do his actual job. Yet he finds time to jet off around the world on his donor’s private plane and trouser half a million quid while families struggle. Reform are not on your side. They’re just in it for themselves”

It’s so obvious, it hurts.

AOC: In some ways, you kind of want this guy on a golf course more than you want him in the Oval Office. But that also calls into question the 25th Amendment, because if the determination is that Trump cannot be trusted in the Situation Room, then he's not fit to be president.

Haven't addressed it in my piece (should hv) but it's bizarre that we never consider the moral cost - to our ourselves and our principles - of just ignoring crimes against humanity.
Human rights aren't a thing?
International law doesn't matter anymore? Might is right?
As if it won't come back on us.

Look, I believe in Tim & what he stands for, so if he tells me this really matters, I turn out my pockets. Let's help the kids take the culpable to court, and hope they win. They have more moral courage than us adults too afraid of losing what comfort we've been able to glean in this messed up world

In NSW, and across most of Australia, ten-year-olds are sent to prison. That is too young.

The NSW Premier, Chris Minns and our PM spent some of their Christmas Day last year volunteering with the amazing Rev. Bill Crews. Good on them.

One Nation was deliberately created out of Tony Abbott's office, trying to exploit Hanson to create a Greens of the non-Liberal right with similar high preference flows, but control was lost almost before it started, because everyone involved was a gigantic dickhead operating beyond their station.

Mis- and disinformation about the NDIS is wild. No, fraud isn’t the biggest problem nor are the so-called mumma bears with neurodiverse kids. The biggest waste is coming from plans worth over $40K and senseless admin that fails to reflect real-world situations.

A screenshot of a post on X (formerly Twitter) by Magyar Péter (Ne féljetek), with the handle @magyarpeterMP. The post reads:
"Until 31 May, the Orbán puppets may voluntarily step down from their positions. This applies to the President of Hungary, the President of the Curia, the President of the National Office for the Judiciary, the President of the Constitutional Court, and the Prosecutor General.
On 12 April, the Hungarian people voted for a complete political transformation.
If these officials do not step down voluntarily by 31 May, then — on the basis of the mandate received from millions of Hungarians — we will remove them from office."
At the bottom, the timestamp reads "3:04 AM • Apr 21, 2026" alongside "19.9K Views".

Peter Magyar is not playing around at all. He's going to purge every single remnant of corrupt Orbanism. This is exactly how Dems need to be when they retake power.

The question should be, not whether the NDIS is growing too fast, but whether its growth reflects genuine unmet need, and whether Australia is prepared to fund the level of inclusion it has already committed to in principle.

An incredible three-night stay. What impressed me most was the hotel's organization: I was assigned a different cockroach in the bathroom for every single day of my visit, ensuring I never felt lonely.
It is fascinating to see such a commitment to urban biodiversity. I leave with the feeling that the cleaning staff has a sacred respect for life in all its forms, carefully avoiding any interference with the free movement of my little six-legged friends. A true five-star safari for those seeking an "all-natural," unfiltered experience.
General service was excellent.

As flight options shrink, this regional city is hoping for a return to rail Trains stopped coming to Mount Gambier decades ago, but with fewer flights, locals want them back.

I’d also like to see the return of passenger rail to this area. There used to be a line between here in Heywood and Mount Gambier but was closed over 30 years ago.

British universities paid security firm to ‘spy’ on pro-Palestine students Investigation reveals how Horus, a company led by ex-military intelligence officials, was hired during protest movement.

what I can not stand about these tertiary institutions attacking their own students is the complete absence of evidence that pro-Palestine students are a physical threat to anything or anyone. The “threat” is to status quo white supremacy and war machine money.

Many cities are demolishing their high-rise public housing (I’m looking at you Melbourne!)

Paris is bucking the trend by refurbishing. These 101 apartments originally build in 1976 were reclad with new insulation on the outside and look great!

Netanyahu claimed last week that Magyar invited him to Hungary.

Today Magyar said that Netanyahu will be arrested if he enters Hungary:

“I made it clear to the Israeli PM — we will not back down... If a state is an ICC member and a person who is wanted enters that territory, they must be detained”
