Do these pics tell a story about the fight left in a club trying to avoid relegation...

2 captains having to go off injured with a few games left in the season.

Which team would you say had more chance of staying up?

Only centre backs (and Armstrong) go without leggings. Made of different stuff to play at the back.

Ice cream and salad. A new combo?

Hot Cross Buns were fine as they were - they never needed apple and cinnamon, salted caramel, chocolate, red velvet or anything else.

How many have been home games? It feels like most except maybe Utd away?

Just for fun, let me tell you about somebody you've probably never heard of, but who was once one of the most famous people in England, a national hero, a disgraced fraudster, and an astonishingly accomplished piratical maniac.

He led quite a life. (1/53)

I know a Stophe/Stopher. He's a decent guy, tbf.

Love a Stout. Collaboration between Northern Monk and Timothy Taylor. No unnecessary caramel or blackberry - just Stout. Nice one.๐Ÿ‘

Anyone notice that the side who just picked up 2 straight wins could easily have been picked by Sean Dyche. Only new player was KDH.

Shows that the money we spent in summer was for the future, and Moyes genuinely is an expert manager.

Fair enough. Tbf, I was thinking about Martinez and Lampard, and Dyche's pre-seasons. Don't remember as far back as Moyes first stint in charge

Don't remember the team ever improving results or performances after a mid season hot weather training camp. I get the theory, but it just never seems to work.

Maybe we're in different times now...?

Anyone remember how we thought we'd get a nice home win against bottom side Wolves to kick start the year?

Burnley aren't even bottom, so....

(Sorry for negativity - I'm just trying to manage my own expectations ๐Ÿ˜ญ!)

Iran: How Keir Starmer has upheld international law at a crucial moment, kept meaningful distance from โ€˜alliesโ€™ treating it with contempt, defended the national interest & served the network of global obligations designed to make world safer.

They weren't bought for this season. We're building a squad of 18-23 yr olds to be the core for the next 3-5 years OR to develop and sell on for profit.

Not every transfer will work, and some will only work after a year or 2.

It's a 5 year plan, not a 6 month plan. I'm not bothered by it.

Gotta find it from somewhere.

Either that or it's 3 5 1 1 with Armstrong and KDH/Ndiaye in wide midfield. Which sounds all kinds of wrong.

Am I reading this wrong, or do we have Garenllner and Branthwaite at full back when out of possession, changing to 3 4 3 with Garner moving into wide midfield when in possession?

My 18 yr old daughter's take on the Andrew arrest:

"Is Jeffrey Epstein the same as Harvey Weinstein because, low key, they actually have the same name."

Not sure this story is cutting through to all age groups...๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

All that may be true, and Blair did seem to get carried away by his role in the Middle East. But his Labour govt did more good than the 32 years of Tory govt I've endured for the rest of my lifetime.

And Starmer just needs to do SOMETHING so we can assess if he's more than just a wet dishcloth.

Was he playing in the late 70s then, cos he looks about 50 in that photo?

Ask if the team/league position is performing better than expected at this stage and if, as a consequence, targets for the season have been amended?

2 questions in 1 - that's what journos are supposed to do, right?!?

It isn't close to GB News, but they struggle with what it means to be impartial. They think it means giving a voice to anyone with an opinion, however radical or abhorrent.

And Farage gets far too much coverage.

If the game was at home, he might have been tempted. But this keeps it stable at the back (hopefully).

And we move to a back 3 when in attacking possession with JO'B moving across, which theoretically means we still push another player into attack.
