Josiah, I'm sorry, but nuance was abolished in 2009, your post is not valid.
Annoyingly accurate assessment
One of the downsides of living in Wales is I can't get involved in this @livingstreets.bsky.social campaign to address pavement parking. But for those of you in England, perhaps take a look? act.livingstreets.org.uk/page/189938/...
An image of a person with a pushchair down a residential street near inconsiderately parked cars. The person is wearing striped clothing and walking past a black car. The setting includes brick buildings and a view of houses on a hill in the background.
It's happening! 📢
On Tuesday, MPs will consider an amendment to enable local leaders to ban pavement parking in their area. We need you to help us get this amendment on to the Bill.
Ask your MP to agree to Amendment 265 when it's considered on Tuesday: https://bitly.livingstreets.org.uk/4tMU2Uq
Glad to hear the issue has been resolved.
It would have been forwarded to the correct person and the issue sorted. If you want an issue sorting, please always email me and I can action. I look at this account every few days (if that) and it isn't the place for casework enquiries. I'm an active local councillor, but there is only one of me.

Safer, more efficient streets start at the curb. We’re launching an Office of Curb Management to bring greater coordination and consistency to how curb space is used citywide. This office will lead policies across 6,300 miles of streets and nearly 3 million curbside parking spaces, bringing a more coordinated approach to managing competing demands, from deliveries and pick-ups to outdoor dining, bike parking, and waste containerization. By expanding loading zones, reducing double parking, and applying modern tools and best practices, this new office will help improve safety and keep New York City moving.

"What were you like in the 1990s, Dad?"
I was a spotty teenage kid who didn't know anything at all about the world and couldn't be helped.
There! Are you happy now???
“Changing a city is complicated, because even the most progressive people don’t want to alter their habits. To succeed, you have to have a strategy, be determined and, yes, accept being unpopular.”
Bravo, @annehidalgo.bsky.social 👏

If she believes what she’s saying then she’s in the wrong party. If she’s thinking people are going to vote Labour because she at least still has some principles, she’s desperately wrong and taking the public for mugs.
Labour are rightly hated now, and I’m looking forward to their wipeout in May. 🥾
Yep, rename it Lulsgate Bottom Airport. The airport operators don't deserve our name as they don't share the people of Bristol's desire to tackle the climate emergency.

GWR is planning to introduce direct Oxford–Bristol trains this May, running every two hours Mon-Sat, if Network Rail approves. New documents submitted to the rail regulator say that the Government is backing the service, and that it is targeting the timetable change date in May.
Gladiators ended this weekend and I am informed Race Across The World begins on Thursday. It's like the BBC folks have scheduled things for people like me who don't really like TV and can only watch one (weekly) show at a time. Ta Beeb.
P.S. Please make your politics journalism less rubbish.
Gosh.

Can't wait for this to happen in the West of England Combined Authority area.
Might have to wait while though, because it's not in the Mayors Transport Vision.

Really deplorable behaviour from the people in this action. I hope Helen Godwin is OK.
The same campaign group are targeting councillor surgeries, but these have so far been far more conciliatory and useful standard lobbying tactics.

Yes, I am disappointed in myself for not knowing his politics too! Sorry to everyone.
I stopped following him when I found out he had repulsive views on immigration 😔

Actually, not going to delete my post, think it works as a salient reminder that you may have to revise your views of a person when others make you aware of stuff.
Turns out he's not so great. See comments underneath for why!
Just seen the other comment. Oh dear god! I had literally no idea...Will delete and unfollow. So disappointing.
