One was Missouri vs Minnesota...
- made 3
- simultaneous off-ball defensive foul (should be an and-1 like NBA, but team gets possession in college)
- made 2 with foul
- missed FT
- o-reb
- made 3
The other appears to be PBP gremlins. So just this one.

The CFP Committee is supposed to be an independent arbiter.
But did you know conferences are allowed to lobby members in the final week to make the case for their teams?
Of course we got those presentations.
Read it all in this week's FOIAball:

Doug Gottlieb threw a chair tonight and for good reason: Green Bay was on the wrong end of the least likely comeback of the season, losing an 11-point lead (with the ball!) in the final 2:53.
I was wondering why Northwestern wasn’t playing until 10:35 tonight.
FINAL: Columbia 106, Fairfield 77
Folks, the Lions are for real. A wire-to-wire drubbing of Fairfield in the Stags home gym. Blair Thompson had 23. Kenny Noland had 20 and 7. Columbia shot 63% from the field.
For Fairfield, a lot of questions arise. Drop to 4-3
Through 4 games Princeton is 2-2 with the results going as expected and the team looking very Princeton. At least Mitch Henderson’s teams have an identity.
It seems like NJIT is going to be a little feisty this season. That’s good to see! I think they’re underrated at 338 in KenPom after today’s win.
Agreed, was similarly fast on a percentage basis today.
Ivy League tournament team (to be clear). Bucknell isn’t great, but a 10-point home win is nice. Too many free throw line extended jumpers though.
Having watched no other Ivy League teams yet (I just see Yale is crushing it), I think Princeton looks like a tournament team with some upside depending on how the youth develop. Will be a fun team to root for.
ACC gonna ACC
Craig Moore is the GM of Iona?? How did I not know this?? That’s amazing. ionagaels.com/sports/mens-...
I really like the minutes I’ve seen from Princeton freshman Landon Clark. He’s going to be a useful Ivy League player if he sticks around.
@barttorvik.bsky.social I noticed Caden Pierce in the Princeton top contributors still. Is he in the model? Is that artificially boosting Princeton’s chances?
Thanks for the insight into the process!
Ah, ok, so you’re asking for like the “Any records containing the number of units and cost of alcohol sold during September football games” or something (or maybe more targeted if you know the school’s accounting system for instance) and they’re giving you back whatever they have. That makes sense!
@mattbrown.bsky.social I’m curious about the open records requests you’ve been filing for things like alcohol and hot dog sales. In order to request them there must be a “record” right? So are you asking for the entire spreadsheet? Just that line? Is that a “record” in the legal definition? Thanks!
Nice game from Greg Gordon carries LIU past IU Indy on the road. The Jaguars will be trouble for some Horizon League teams this season.
I knew this one was going to be fun!
Oh I know lol
Well, I guess a new coach can be useful for some things…
In the biggest NYC news of the night, the Mike Magpayo era at Fordham starts with a somewhat embarrassing home loss to No. 356 NJIT.
NJIT, like seemingly everyone, totally reshaped its roster, but through mostly freshmen and sophomores, so maybe that can work, too?
Random game I’m looking forward to: LIU at IU Indy. Now why is at 6:30pm ET?
News: Dayton is withholding Iona transfer Adam Njie upon information received from the NCAA. Sources tell SI this is related to the widening probe of gambling and performance manipulation in the sport. bit.ly/4obNrAF
This is me, I traded for Brian Thomas Jr. in fantasy today.
Personal favorites:
1. Where Kyle Smith is among all coaches
2. Where John Dunne is in defense
3. Seeing Jim Ferry on the offense list (with an atrocious defensive number!)
I will say, I was a little surprised by Greg Kampe’s defensive numbers.
This article by @kenpom.com confirms so many of my coaching priors that I really just enjoyed the whole thing: open.substack.com/pub/kenpom/p...
Happy KenPom Day to those who celebrate. Dayton is the highest true mid-major at No. 54, which is pretty ominous, but that never stopped us from believing before.
