Doing my best to improve myself. I've realized over the past few years how much hate I've expelled to the people in my life and how it's caused a lot of pain to those who've known me.

I do hope that the writers know what they're doing. I'm hoping this is just Peter in the belly of the whale and he can build himself up even better than before, but I'm more about heroes feeling light and hope rather than pain and despair, because I already get enough of that on a daily basis.
Peter Parker is not about being miserable. It's about challenge and growth. And if there's no light at the end of the tunnel, then what's the point? You may as well just look outside at the growing crap-state of the world if you want grim and gritty writing.
The way No Way Home ended made me feel no enjoyment for where Peter's story was going, and now with Brand New Day it seems like they have interesting developments with giving an evolution to Peter's powers... but I DON'T CARE! You've essentially ruined a character that to me was the perfect Peter.
Real talk, I've always hated the idea that Peter being the multiverse's punching bag is "good writing". Sure, have him be challenged. Have him go through crap and come out on the other end maybe not okay, but at least improving. But this is just sadistic storytelling!
So, I'm out here hearing people be like "Yo, Spider-Man is absolutely miserable this movie is gonna be peak!!"
