There's a food app called Beli, like Letterboxd (but for ranking/reviewing restaurants/bars/etc.). Its very personal tailored, but you can also at least see, avg ratings from others (only after doing a certain amount of ur own). There could be a happy medium somewhere there, wo too much more work

Very cool. Seems intended as a personal app, but some inter-personal/consensus/social aspect of fellow rankers/note-takers would be an interesting add on. Some will want to do it all themselves, others will want to follow people they trust/notes they like/learn from. Plus interesting data for all.
