Well I was considering Illinois as a state to live in to seek refuge from anti-LGBTQ+ legislation. If age verification is required at all anywhere on the Internet in the state of Illinois, forget it.

The Illinois State House just passed HB 5511, a bill that will require EVERY WEBSITE and EVERY APP to implement an age verification check.

@govpritzker.illinois.gov has pushed this hard and it’s Meta’s preferred solution to avoid liability.
