DNA testing for potential to develop health conditions is sinister.
It's an attempt to quantify the risk for individual patients. But health advice is the same whatever your risk so knowing risk is no use to doctors or patients.
One industry that relies on understanding risk though is insurance.
When I ran for leader, I said we're going to make the Labour Government more worried about losing seats to the Green Party - than to Reform.
