Music has an extremely strong emotional tie for myself, from what a friend explained to me due to how I frequently get goosebumps when singing/humming to myself. I find also that keeping on beat helps to stabilize my heart and mind by keeping on a pattern when everything around me feels in disarray.
Does anyone else also sing to themselves during difficult moments of their lives, in order to use the lyrics of a song to set their own mind back on track, reminding themselves of what they believe in despite the noise, and power through despite how pained they feel psychologically? Just curious.
