Playing a self destructive character in video game breaks the symmetry between the player goals and the characters goals. Mario or Kratos and I both want the same thing but what Aava wants, I do not want for Aava.

To be clear: Cairn’s narrative was good.

It was a game about self destruction and Aava is a bad person that doesn’t care about anyone but herself. Its like the antithesis of Celeste… sometimes climbing the mountain makes you a worse person…

I love Cairn’s story so much.

As someone who is very critical of TLoU HbO show, the news about Craig Mazin getting the reins to BG3 adaptation is somewhat disappointing.

A fresh new story in the DnD universe would be better than HBO resurrecting these characters for a medium i don’t think they are suited for.

mechanically difficult but transcendently peaceful at the same time. I was out of food, water and pitons at the end.

The ending made me levitate.

I am hoping the game gets a performance parch for the PS5.
