Thankfully both insurance companies have sided with me as not at fault so it's been a very smooth resolution and whilst I don't get any pay out, I didn't have to pay any excess either so silver lining of it all ✨

Thankfully it's been a really quick resolution and whilst I think I might be left with a scar, my injuries have healed really smoothly (⁠ ⁠◜⁠‿⁠◝⁠ ⁠)⁠♡ (and I've been resting lots thankfully)

I don't get a payout from insurance due to this being motability, meaning the new down payment is having to come straight from my pocket. Also I have to order my new car within two weeks otherwise I will loose my car entirely, so any support would mean a lot as this will wipe out my bank account!

Covering lost income 0% of £150 goal On Tuesday (07/Apr) I unfortunately was involved in a car crash. Due to this I am having to take time off from work to recover. As is the nature of freelance work, I am only paid for work done and do not receive sick pay. This goal aims to cover my approximate lost earnings.

For those who maybe don't know, I am chronically ill and disabled and my art alongside the one day of editorial work I do is the only income I get outside of the minimal benefits I'm eligible for. In march my income was reduced due to other matters, so this crash has not come at a good time for me 😭
