Ra, god of the sun, projects his rays outwards, they are blocked directly by the moon, so his true rays do not reach Artemis II where a person is leaning out the window to take photos, instead Set, god of chaos and trickery, has a big mirror, and is sending his trickery-tinged light at artemis ii!!

There are people out there claiming some of the Artemis II photos are improbable, even impossible, so I made this graphic to clear up how space photography works

The bare plate. I messed up my etching ground application and so had to really scrub to remove it, so the plate surface was a little scratched and left a lot of surface tone around the printed figure, but I kinda like how it looks.

I etched this at the same time as my "Kantali and the Beasts" plate

I especially like how it looks when you look at the back of the page and shine a light through it.

Carbon paper I used to create the design on the plate. I reuse my carbon paper so you can see the ghost of on of my paintings on there also.

They came out really lovely! It's dope to see the way the shapes and feel of your style translates between 2D and 3D.

Pipa(?) the dragon missing their lower jaw. They are made of cute sheet metal and bent rods. They are also filled with exposed plastic tubing for their fire breath mechanism

Erif, another green painted metal dragon but stuffed with more internals, smaller size, and on wheels. They have propane tanks on their side. Ignore my reflection ;)

in other news, me and a friend changed our oil together ourselves for the first time. They also introduced me a family of fire breathing dragons :)
