preachy
my sympaties are with the blockee
from my point of view i made positive (vague) points about my position and only changed my tone to match yours
do you suppose i was ruder than you in this conversation? I don't see it at all tbh
i could be soft as a lamb and it would not change anything. I've had these conversations a hundred times
i didn't come to assume hostility for no reason. you haven't blocked me so really you're way above average for my experience with bsky conversations about ai

bad politics as a motivating factor and all sorts of poor thinking in service of that
misguided
may be better to think in terms of "does my participation lend material support"

curious to know what limitations force it to ignore groyper comments. there're probably several layers and any one of them could be catching it but also this would simply be reporting on external content, neither you nor it are implicated in the inappropriate behavior so the filtering makes no sense
I guess what spurs people on is not the severity of a problem but its status in the public discourse
the bubble, the pollution, and the slop are three different problems with their own specifics that are habitually bulldozed over with generalizations and reflexive arguments
pollution slop bubble
switched to "New" comments to see what it looked like. some are transparently gropers but there's also the genre of "they're both cringe", yapping accusations, etc as if the substance of what was talked about was irrelevant
