Picture taken a couple years ago with my phone of a Sony Trinitron CRT TV display with my newly RGB modded NES hooked up to it. The pixels are flawless, the few imperfections are from dirt on the screen haha.

Those are the words of an angel right there.

Playing games on a CRT with Component/SCART is on a whole new level.

Here is a pic of my NES after I RGB modded it on a Sony Trinitron CRT. I highly recommend investing in a decent Component cable and getting a DOL-001 Gamecube to use on the CRT!

Wow, for a while I was annoyed because when I scrolled down on peoples profiles including my own the top banner would stay stuck at the top half of my screen giving me only the bottom half to scroll and see posts on a person's profile.

It's a bug! Clearing the Cache on the app fixed it instantly! 🥳

I switched to using the Chipquik no clean flux from this older brown stuff that left a mess and I haven't turned back.

I still find chip quik to be some of the best flux.

I recently started playing some ROM hacks. Pokemon Unbound is phenomenal. It's a ROM hack of Fire Red (maybe Emerald?). It's an original story with pokemon from later generations ported to the GBA style.

I love the old pixel art so much, and Gen 3 has a special place in my heart still.

I feel the same way. I know some nerds love having their domain associated with their name, but I feel it adds unnecessary length to people's usernames and makes stuff look cluttered at times.

They should make the default @bsky.social part hidden, and if people have custom ones have it show up.
