They should call it “Rededicate 72” or “Rededicate 69,” since the phrase “one nation under God” didn’t become part of the Pledge of Allegiance or appear on U.S. currency until 1954 and 1957 respectively. My vote is for “Rededicate 69.”

For a long time, I’ve regarded “the right time” to be anytime that the cameras are rolling, although the more cameras, the better. During an address to the nation would be perfect, because I think it’s important that as many MAGAts as possible witness the blessed event so that it’s undeniable.

But what about all those “distancing himself from Trump” stories?
