Games played in today’s Macleod & MacCallum North Caledonian League resulted in no change to placings in the table, but a big win for Invergordon sees them go 3 points clear with just 2 games left to play.

Elsewhere, Bonar Bridge rounded off their campaign with a big home win against Orkney.

It's all to play for now as we move into the final weeks of the season. A big win for Inverness at home to Halkirk today and a win for Invergordon across the Pentland Firth sees the top two sit on 52 points apiece.

A close up of the Football Times Cup, which I presented to the winning captain today. It was first played for 100 years ago this year - after it was donated to the league by Highland News, who ran the Football Times as a Saturday evening newspaper during the early 20th century.

The latest @northcaleyfa.com league standings after the weekend of November 30th, 2024. Wins for St Duthus and Fort William keep them at the top of the bottom pack, while Halkirk United reinforced their top spot with a 4-1 win away to Golspie, closely followed by Invergordon, who won at Helmsdale.
