At best, this is unenforceable as written. At worst, we have 180 days to rewrite 30 years of work from the ground up, and no one is paying us to do it

ah yes, the "children live here" act. When a kid goes online, the best thing we can do is broadcast their age and location to anonymous internet users
This bill is so sloppy. Is a web page an app? What if linux provides the interface but wayland doesn't expose it? Is this API userspace?
got about this far with my "fully analytical" physics engine before i found the wikipedia page for the three-body problem explaining why a fully analytical physics engine is impossible
yeah exactly! these days there are plenty other sources of sustained anxiety
i need spoilers to get me through emotional media. like my heart cannot handle 5 seasons of not knowing whether my favorite character will live or die. like plot twists are one thing, but most "spoilers" are just drawn out tension

aw yess Elder Scrolls Online is on sale for $5 so i finally bought it! read an article a little while ago about how they think it wasn't received well because people simply didn't realize it had released, and i was 100% one of those people

Two papercraft models of bigfin squid. Text on the image reads, "The (Paper) Bigfin Squid. Sneepsnorp Club Papercraft. Volume 5, Issue 3, March 2026."
i made a 32-inch bigfin squid papercraft pattern! :D the pattern is available now for Sneepsnorp Club :3
they need rehabilitation services for programmers who went Too Deep and are struggling to reenter society
No I mean the roads, walls, etc. they're not being locked to EG 16px or 32px increments, right? So how are the textures always seamless?
No worries if it's a trade secret, I was just curious
Snap to hex grid
how do you get your textures to tile perfectly when the user can make them any length? i tried doing this for my own game and i ended up having to scale the texture to get an integer number of tiles, which doesn't feel great

I think the lack of amended laws to regulate this isn't really about the culture of trading cards so much as a general lack of motivation to regulate any corporations in USA
Legally courts keep shooting down trading card lawsuits because the "official" purchase is X dollars for X dollars' worth of cards. Any profit happens on unofficial secondary markets, so the card seller cannot be blamed. Valve is being targeted because the seller market is Valve's official market
if you think $225 million on furniture is wasteful, wait til you hear about the $90 billion spent on bombing children abroad
I've forever wanted to combine the two by making flash cards containing ALL the vocab for a show. But it would take hours stepping through a show just to make the flash cards for it
impressive, this is what separates the farmer from the farmest

loyal means "if we cut your pay, will you quit immediately or will you stick around so we can lay you off the following year?"
Picture of Marjane Satrapi alongside a quote from her. The quote reads: The world is not divided into countries. The world is not divided between East and West. You are American, I am Iranian, we don't know each other, but we talk together and we understand each other perfectly. The difference between you and your government is much bigger than the difference between you and me. And the difference between me and my government is much bigger than the difference between me and you. And our governments are very much the same... - Marjane Satrapi, Iranian-French graphic novelist
Thinking about this quote from Persepolis creator Marjane Satrapi again.
wow, memory unlocked, i used to play this all the time! i was like 4 so the cut-scenes felt like an R-rated movie to me
pro: i no longer feel bummed about being short because even my tallest friends cannot reach this shelf
con: not sure where i will park the boom lift when i am not using it to reach my crock-pot
This kitchen has so much storage space! And since the cabinets are 10ft in the air, it's especially good for anyone who wants to hide their golden goose from humans
