Still a very long way to go stripping out the old and rewriting, but it's getting there.

Happy book launch day to Amanda M. Blake!
Mommy made it back in time for Beanie’s birthday. She’s 7! We also celebrate Bodhi’s bday today, as we don’t know his.
The hardest part about twisting myself into knots to make my back feel a little better is figuring out how Beanie fits into the equation.
Much needed naps are a bit crowded these days.
Two major plot holes in my current wip have kept me in a bit of a slump lately. Well, that and this dumb back pain. But I have notes for the fixes now, and despite not being able to do things on my preferred timeline, I have a plan to get it done regardless. Fingers crossed.
I love this guy. Look at that neck chub.
My man is back, feeling like his old self. So glad to have him happy again.
What people might know about Bean is that she must be pet 99.9% of the time or she’ll float away.
Bodhi is much better today. Still some slight panting but that’s been it. He has his energy back and is eating his bland diet well. Much more active. Hoping we’re out of the woods.
Bodhi update: doctor didn’t find anything. So they’re sending him home with meds and he has to go on a bland diet. Follow up at our vet when they’re open again. Thanks for all the positive energy, folks. I’ve been a bit of a wreck about it all.
Please keep Bodhi in your thoughts. He isn’t feeling well. I think we’re going to take him to the hospital.
Thing about having a beard is, sometimes things get lost in there. I once went through an entire meeting without realizing I had a ramen noodle in there.
“Everything’s going to be okay.” She means it. It holds weight. And that reassures me that, yes, everything will be okay.
Heather and I have different strengths. One of hers is that’s she’s the kindest person I’ve ever met. Another is that she can carry the weight of the world if she has to. She’s so much stronger than me in that way. That’s why each night I always ask her to say the words:

Merry Christmas, all. I asked for a good night’s sleep, but it seems Santa skipped me again. Oh well, there’s a nap in my near future. Hopefully.

Yesterday was a big surgical day for Construct. So much to strip out and fix. I started at 92k, removed A LOT, rewrote a bunch, nearing the halfway point, and ended up at 95k. Still much work to be done. Feels like every thread I pull, five more come with it. Hope it all pays off.
Had someone stop by the table to tell they’d bought These Trespasses—my first novel way back when—and liked it so much that they’d been passing it around to their friends, who also enjoyed it. And that, my friends, made my night.
Ready to go at Monster Mania. Stop by and say hi if you’re around Oaks, PA.
