False Positives: A Podcast on Financial Discrimination & De-banking - AlgorithmWatch Agence France-Presse released a podcast that was based on a six-month investigation conducted in the framework of the AlgorithmWatch Algorithmic Accountability Reporting fellowship.

For the past 6 months, we have investigated at @algorithmwatch.bsky.social, together with @afpfr.bsky.social, the extent to which automated systems trigger the alerts that lead to bank account closures. We turned our findings into a podcast: "False Positives" 👇
