UK Government: Keep your promise to protect workers Zero hours contracts, unfair ‘fire and rehire’, waiting months or even years to be able to access benefits – the world of work in our country is weighted against actual workers. It’s billionaire bosse...

A new law could give millions of us better rights at work, but corporate lobbyists & politicians are trying to gut it. Tell the Government: protect workers, not profits!

James Kennedy - Autopsy
James Kennedy - Autopsy YouTube video by James Kennedy & The Underdogs

5 years old and sadly seems more accurate today.

Zero hour contracts
Billionaires pay no tax
The homeless, immigrants
And poor get attacked
Cos the 1% need
Divide & rule
Not unions, homes,
Hospitals & schools
Whilst the Police State creeps
Like the rising seas

The deliberate and relentless killing of Palestinian journalists is sickening beyond words — and is a desperate attempt to silence the truth about Israel’s ongoing crimes against humanity.

Shame on all those who empowered Israel to murder with impunity.

I am fortunate but none of the things listed in the opening section of this opinion that apparently have happened to “every woman” have happened to me. That is NOT to downplay how women that it has happened to feel. But I don’t believe that broad statements referencing “every woman” help us.

I first saw this in Moab, Utah c.15 years ago. It’s such a good concept and great that it’s so simple to both donate and collect from a public library.

Anything by Sharon Kay Penman but my favourite is her Welsh trilogy starting with Here Be Dragons then Falls the Shadow then The Reckoning. Also The Sunne in Splendour
published long before Richard III was found in a car park (although I hate the final section even knowing what will happen).
