Nothing arranged at the moment. I'm appearing at a few conventions, Liecester this weekend, Nottingham with the whole cast in a couple of months time
A picture of yours truly standing by a pear tree holding a brand new copy of The Man in the Rubber Mask. And yes, I know I have to record an audio version but it's going to take a while.
Very excited to announce the arrival of the fully revised and now 100% up to date complete history of life on board the Jupiter Mining Vessel Red Dwarf. The Man in the Rubber Mask, now with 57.4% more smeg!

Clearly, something has gone a but wonky at Bluesky HQ
True that, although we do get quarry trucks rumbling past, they don't start at 5am.
I have been using the app for a few years. This morning I registered Greenfinch, Song Thrush, Wood Pigeon, Blackbird, Robin, Pheasant and Dunnock. Nice.
Woke up too early this morning, annoying. I didn't need to wake up early.
The upside, I stood outside for a few moments and heard the dawn chorus. Soul replenished, thought I would share 30 seconds. #soundup
Thank you so much for that tip. I never knew. I know now. Very good suggestion, and just to say we Brits love Americans, we may have some polite issues with the current administration, but they will one day be gone. (My overarching ambitionat present is to outlive the old orange man)
I have driven a BYD ATTO 3 many thousands of miles and it's a great car.
Now BYD have bought out a new one, it goes further, it charges faster and it's . . . . cheaper!

Elliot Richards has a look at a huge electric SUV from China that has beaten the Range Rover electric launch by many months. It doesn't look rubbish either. Yes, I know it's a massive SUV, but it's on the road NOW.

There was a time when cobalt and nickel (child labor) was critical to make batteries. Now cobalt is mainly used in oil refining, stainless steel and the batteries in the device you used to post this comment.
But the materials dug up are used for 25+ years and then recycled.
Oil is used once.
A beautiful illustration for Australians, and the rest of us. A simple bar graph that depicts how far you can go on a $Aus with petrol, and how far with electricity.
(BTW, the refining of oil into petrol uses a metric sh!t ton of electricity)

Very happy to learn of the Hungarian election result.
Old trumpy pants and the grubby little faragรฉ are finally being exposed for the tragic loser con men they really are.
It's also not a realistic option to drive a 3 tone pickup truck to go buy a litre of milk, but tens of thousands of Texans do it without a 2nd thought.
Hey ho, off you go, carry on living in 1972 while the rest of the world moves forward very, very fast.
When I was in Shanghai last year and saw that around 90% of the cars in the city were electric, and I learned that 95% of the population live in apartments, it struck me that it might just be possible to charge your car without a driveway with the right infrastructure

March, 2026, the big tipping point.

A screenshot from National Grid Live which gives the latests stastics about the electricity grid.
We are current;ly 77.5% powered by renewables, a pitiful 5% powered by burning imported methane gas, and yet the effing price is set by the effing cost of effing gas, I am effing fuming!

Every single thing about that inspiring and remarkable Artemis II mission, every achievement, success, message, skill, strength, trait, relationship, decision and human emotion, was a repudiation of everything Donald Trump exhibits and stands for.
Do you think he knows that? #ArtemisII
What an unutterably skid mark on the soul of humanity.

That's the idea, we are just recording a podcast in front of a small audience
Really looking forward to this. If you are in London on Saturday 18th April, come along.
Robert, Rory & Gregโs Plan to Get Us Off Gas. Hosted by Imogen Bhogal. It will be fascinating!

Worrying but I think Eric has a point.
I have scrawled a little rant-ette reposte about my favourite extremist rag, the Daily effing Mail.
